roomy, the zip pocket is the only thing keeping my keys findable
Old Cobbler Reviews
Had it since spring and it still stands up on its own when its full. Paid a fair bit less than the other tote i had in my cart and honestly cant tell what the extra money was going to buy me...
Bought this for my sister, who had been carrying a canvas tote from a department store for about three years. The grained leather is stiffer out of the box than I expected, and it smells like leather rather than plastic, which was the thing I was worried about. It came wrapped in tissue inside a dust bag, with no creases along the base. Her old one had gone soft at the corners inside a year, so the difference is obvious with the two of them side by side. She has carried it every day since her birthday, and I would order the same one again.
black reads a little softer than the photos, still fine
It arrived a few days before the trip I bought it for. My 14 inch laptop goes in flat with a folder beside it, though the water bottle I usually carry has to lie on its side.
Half what I nearly paid elsewhere, and better.
Photos are honest, the Ebene is the deep brown they show rather than anything reddish. The dust bag it came in was creased, which I did not care about. Happy to recommend it.
Chose this one because the listing actually showed the studs on the base. Arrived a few days later than the estimate said. Fine otherwise, and I would have waited longer for it.
Gave it to my daughter a month ago, still looks new.
This is my second Alma. The first was a pale one that I ruined, so I went dark this time. Knew within about a minute it was the right call. The Ebene hides everything and it still stands up on its own when I put it down.
Colour is accurate. It is a proper olive-leaning khaki, not beige. Came in a dust bag with nothing crushed. Would order from here again.
Went with this over two other khaki ones because of the silver hardware. Took a little longer to arrive than I had hoped, but it landed before my trip, which was the only thing that mattered.
Six weeks in, corners still perfect.
Bought as a leaving gift for a colleague after getting one myself. First thing he said was how heavy it is empty, and it is. He is still taking it out every other week.
This replaced a nylon holdall I had been travelling with for years and it is a different thing entirely. The khaki leather is flat and matte with no shine to it, so it does not look like it is trying. Packed it for four nights and it went into the overhead without me squashing it. The zipped pocket inside is where my passport lives now. Straps sit fine on the shoulder even loaded up. If you are deciding between this and the canvas ones, get this.
Three months of near-daily use. The handles have darkened a shade, which I was told to expect. I went with this listing over two others because it was the only one that actually showed the pouch.
Opened it and knew straight away it was the right size.
Got it for my mum. She had an MM for years and wanted the bigger one. Azur marks more easily than the brown, which we knew going in. She carries it every day regardless.
I had a tote from somewhere else sitting in my basket for weeks at nearly double this, and I am glad I waited. The Azur is much lighter in person than it photographs, proper cream and pale blue rather than grey. Mine does the school run and then goes straight to the studio, and the GM swallows a laptop, a change of clothes and a lunch bag without ever looking full. The side laces pull it in when it is half empty so it does not flop about. Best thing I have bought this year.
Arrived wrapped, pouch tucked inside, no marks anywhere.
